01
Using this website
You may use this website to learn about MAJ Media, request a quote, start a project inquiry, use live chat, and follow links to approved services. You must not misuse the site, test it for vulnerabilities without written permission, interfere with availability, submit unlawful content, impersonate another person, or attempt unauthorized access.
02
Authority to act
If you submit information or approve work for a business, you confirm that you have authority to act for that business and to share the information provided. You remain responsible for obtaining any internal approvals needed before MAJ Media acts on instructions.
03
Inquiries and quotes
A form submission, live-chat message, or website price is not a final contract. A project begins only after scope, deliverables, timing, price, responsibilities, and payment terms are confirmed in writing. Prices may vary based on scope, requirements, urgency, platforms, third-party fees, and add-ons.
04
Scope and changes
MAJ Media delivers the work described in the confirmed scope. Requests outside that scope, additional revisions, new platforms, new pages, new integrations, rework caused by changed instructions, or accelerated delivery may require a revised timeline and additional quote.
05
Deposits and payments
Unless a written quote or agreement states otherwise, a 50% initial deposit is required before project work begins. The initial deposit becomes non-refundable once MAJ Media begins work allocated to the first project phase, subject to applicable law.
The remaining balance or any later instalment is due at the milestone stated in the accepted quote or project plan. Depending on the project, that milestone may occur before Phase 2, production, development, deployment, launch, final delivery, or handover. Each payment or instalment becomes non-refundable once MAJ Media begins the work allocated to that payment or phase, subject to applicable law.
A staged project may give each phase its own scope and payment. Work on a later phase normally waits for its required payment. Unstarted future phases are handled separately, while already-incurred third-party costs may remain non-refundable. A written quote may define a different schedule.
Monthly plans are billed in advance for each service period and follow their recurring-plan cancellation terms rather than project-phase milestones. Website plans include the first month in the setup price and begin monthly billing from month 2 unless the written quote states otherwise. Third-party subscriptions, platform charges, transaction fees, printing, courier, domains beyond stated coverage, paid APIs, and provider costs are separate unless the quote says otherwise.
06
Client responsibilities
Clients must provide accurate information, lawful content, timely feedback, required access, and approvals. Do not send passwords, payment card details, private keys, or unnecessary sensitive information through public forms or live chat. Delays in content, approvals, access, or payment may move delivery dates.
07
Electronic communication and live chat
You agree that project and support communication may occur electronically by email, website forms, live chat, WhatsApp, phone, or the client dashboard. Live chat does not guarantee an immediate reply and must not be used for emergencies. Messages may be retained as operational records.
08
Third-party services
Websites and projects may rely on hosting, domain, email, analytics, cloud, payment, social, registration, banking, or other providers. Their availability, pricing, terms, reviews, and approvals are outside MAJ Media's control. MAJ Media does not guarantee approval by a bank, BIR, VAT authority, Companies Registry, payment provider, platform, or government institution.
09
AI-assisted features
AI and automation work is scoped around approved knowledge, monitoring, usage controls, and human handoff. Outputs may require human review. MAJ Media does not promise perfect answers, unlimited usage, autonomous customer service, or guaranteed business outcomes.
10
No professional advice
MAJ Media provides digital, administrative, design, preparation, and organizational support. MAJ Media is not acting as a lawyer, accountant, tax adviser, bank, regulator, or financial adviser. Obtain qualified advice where a matter requires it.
11
Ownership and handover
Final paid deliverables are handed over as described in the project scope. Standard handover is included. Source code transfer, backend transfer, database access, hosting migration, API transfer, environment variables, raw working files, or full technical transfer may require a separate written scope. Clients confirm they have rights to all content they supply.
12
Confidentiality and security
Each party should protect confidential information received for the project. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure or uninterrupted. Clients remain responsible for protecting handed-over accounts, enabling appropriate authentication, maintaining access records, and notifying MAJ Media promptly about suspected compromise.
13
Maintenance and availability
Website care and maintenance are available only for websites built or rebuilt by MAJ Media unless an outside site passes a separate review. Maintenance, monitoring, updates, backups, support hours, and response times are limited to the confirmed plan. Planned or emergency interruptions may occur.
14
Suspension and termination
MAJ Media may pause or end work for non-payment, unlawful instructions, abuse, security risk, missing cooperation, or material breach. The client remains responsible for completed work, committed third-party costs, and outstanding invoices. Either party may end ongoing services according to the confirmed plan terms.
15
Disclaimers and liability
Services are provided with reasonable care within the agreed scope. To the extent permitted by law, MAJ Media is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits, lost opportunities, provider decisions, platform changes, client misuse, or failures outside MAJ Media's reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
16
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. The parties should first try to resolve concerns in good faith. Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. MAJ Media may update these terms when services, law, or technology changes. The effective date above identifies the current public terms.
