Project confirmation
A project is confirmed when scope, price, responsibilities, and timing are agreed in writing and the required deposit is received.
These project terms supplement the Terms of Service for confirmed one-time work.
A project is confirmed when scope, price, responsibilities, and timing are agreed in writing and the required deposit is received.
Timelines depend on timely content, access, feedback, approvals, and payments. Client delays may move the schedule. Urgent work is accepted only when confirmed and may carry an additional fee.
Review rounds and revision limits follow the quote. Feedback should be clear, consolidated, and provided by the authorized decision-maker. Additional or conflicting revision requests may be quoted separately.
Clients are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights to supplied text, images, logos, files, and instructions. Access should be shared only through an approved secure method. Public forms and live chat must not be used for passwords or private keys.
Unless a written quote or agreement states otherwise, a 50% initial deposit is required before project work begins. The initial deposit becomes non-refundable once MAJ Media begins work allocated to the first project phase, subject to applicable law.
The remaining balance or any later instalment is due at the milestone stated in the accepted quote or project plan. Depending on the project, that milestone may occur before Phase 2, production, development, deployment, launch, final delivery, or handover. Each payment or instalment becomes non-refundable once MAJ Media begins the work allocated to that payment or phase, subject to applicable law.
Each staged phase may have its own scope and payment. Work on a later phase normally waits for its required payment. Unstarted future phases are handled separately. Third-party costs may be required in advance and may remain non-refundable once incurred. A written quote may define a different schedule.
All amounts due under the confirmed payment schedule must be paid before launch, final delivery, or handover. Standard handover includes the deliverables stated in scope. Full technical transfer, migration, source systems, databases, APIs, and environment configuration are separate unless expressly included.
Provider reviews, outages, pricing, policy changes, and approvals may affect a project. MAJ Media will provide reasonable coordination but cannot guarantee provider action.
Support, care, updates, and management after handover require an included warranty, website care plan, management plan, or new quote. Website maintenance is limited to sites built or rebuilt by MAJ Media unless an outside site is reviewed and accepted.
Written approval, launch instruction, use of delivered work, or failure to report an in-scope issue within the agreed review period may be treated as acceptance, subject to any rights that cannot legally be limited.
Nothing in these terms limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
